Jannis was born in Switzerland and discovered photography in 2023 while traveling through Bali, starting simply with a smartphone. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a way of seeing the world more attentively, shaped by the tropical landscape and time spent near the ocean.

What draws Jannis to photography is observing how light falls and capturing a precise moment or genuine emotion. For Jannis, photography is not about staging scenes, but about being present and aware.

Jannis works both intuitively and with intention. He values a calm, open atmosphere where things can unfold naturally. His aim is to invite the viewer to pause, connect and feel their way into the moment.
